ENOVIA V5 VPM Description
New ENOVIA - VPM Navigator provides unprecedented VPDM capabilities from within the familiar environment of CATIA enabling design engineers to seamlessly manage their 3D product designs.
With unified access to both design and lifecycle management functions provided in a simplified and intuitive manner, VPM Navigator revolutionizes design engineers way of working and significantly improves their productivity. Unique capabilities delivered through VPM Navigator include the ability to work independent of a CATProduct via the VPM session, a one step process to reroute links to the latest version, ability to graphically analyze links, and the ability to define a work environment using volume and proximity filters.
Greatly expanded CATIA application data coverage. ENOVIA V5 VPM now supports design tables, assembly design templates, end-to-end electrical process coverage within VPM Navigator, analysis documents in exploded mode, and the update status of assembly drawings.
ENOVIA LCA integration with SAP is significantly expanded with bi-directional synchronization allowing for the advanced implementation of business rules and lifecycle event-driven push.
3D Collaborative Workspace Enhancements -
DMU processes are enriched with real-time communication. Interact and collaborate around a rich 3D product definition via peer-to-peer communication capabilities such as chat, file sharing, workgroup creation, etc.
Better support for integrated design environments consisting of CAD data from multiple sources with a new interactive command to check the status of multi-CAX data and update asynchronously. |
