InControl
The InControl 7.11 real-time open architecture control component that allows you to design, create, test and run application programs for controlling your process — faster than ever before. The software is based on Microsoft Windows NT Workstation, Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP operating systems.
InControl software provides a more capable and often lower-cost alternative to PLCs. Running on standard, open PC operating systems, InControl software offers a more robust control package, vastly superior open connectivity and sophisticated logic capabilities to handle complex discrete and batch processes. It also offers greater overall capacity compared to micro-PLCs and lower cost-per-point than midsize PLCs.
InControl software features user-friendly IEC61131-3 Relay Ladder Logic (RLL), Sequential Function Chart (SFC) and Structured Text (ST) editors. It can use popular, low-cost I/O from a variety of open I/O system suppliers (e.g., Opto22, Grayhill, Sixnet).
InControl software uses Microsofts most current DNA technologies, such as ActiveX controls and COM+ to ensure a robust and flexible design. This approach enhances the functionality and robustness of the package, while providing seamless integration with a wide variety of software and hardware solutions from various industrial automation vendors.
When connected to FactorySuite 2000 products, InControl software provides advanced scripting and a real-time information application engine, plus powerful communication capabilities for easy, thorough information integration.
