PROMADIS Manufacturing is the system that provides the management tools for companies that create their own products whether this is for inclusion as stock or for direct delivery.

PROMADIS Manufacturing is integrated with the other PROMADIS systems including PROMADIS Financials and PROMADIS Distribution thereby providing a comprehensive system for all facets of the company.

The creation of manufacturing orders is managed in much the same manner as with PROMADIS Distribution in that a recommended order is created, except in this case the order is a Manufacturing Order. This is then processed through the PROMADIS Manufacturing system by coordinating the Bills of Material, the Route and the required materials (stock) to ensure that production can achieve its deadlines.

The integration with PROMADIS Payroll also ensures that the real cost of the job is reflected in the system by allocating the wage costs for the specific employees working on the order. This integration is also significant when considering the benefits of the PROMADIS General Ledger and the PROMADIS Distribution system as well.

PROMADIS Manufacturing is supplied to collect, monitor and manage materials, resources, processes and capacity to ensure that manfactured goods and delivered to clients on-time and in-budget. This includes managing inventory, bills of materials, integrated MRP, cost accounting procedures, support for actual cost, standard cost, ERP processes, scheduling and much more.

With the activation of the PROMADIS Internet interface, you will be able to make any, or all, of these modules (including PROMADIS Sales Order Entry) accessible over the Internet (subject to security of course). As PROMADIS Sales Order Entry is already Business to Business enabled, then you will also benefit from this new technology opportunity as well.
