FACTIVITY is a manufacturing
factory floor software system that helps dynamically
control your shop floor labor and work-in-process
production while providing real-time data collection.
Touch screens combined with machine integration and
bar code readers allow a powerful visual factory to
easily see WIP while promoting better shop floor control
and labor management.
Through the installation of the FACTIVITY proprietary
human machine interface (HMI), shop floor data collection
is made simple via an intuitive system that is easy
to learn and use. The flashing color-coded buttons
of the FACTIVITY HMI is ready to use upon installation
but can be customized at the user, work center,
machine or asset level.
FACTIVITY is a paperless MES software system that
promotes better factory floor execution of the WIP
jobs by providing management better control of the
resources at their disposal…labor, equipment,
tools and time.
Additional modules provide improved production
schedules which allow more work to complete on time
without adding costly equipment or labor. Scheduling
can be as simple as a drag and drop "electronic
white board" or as sophisticated as user defined
rules in an Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS)
system. Time and Attendance enhances the labor management,
your frontline of process improvement and facilitates
the preprocessing of payroll data by factory floor
supervisors.
Beyond data collection and improved visibility
and ease-of-use, FACTIVITY alerts management to
floor problems in real time as they happen. These
alarms are visually displayed on screens and can
be sent to one or more email addresses within or
outside of the FACTIVITY network. Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) and summary metrics can be shown
in a wide range of graphical tools.
